Laravel 3 was considered one of the best versions of Laravel according to the developers but at the same time, Taylor Otwell redesigned the whole Laravel framework from the scratch. This redesigning of Laravel Architecture gave birth to the next version of Laravel named Laravel 4 or “Illuminate”.
“Illuminate”, the name itself means enlightened. So this version, Laravel 4 was evolved and more enlightened with an extended set of features that no other version of Laravel had like database seeding, message queues, built-in mailer, even more, powerful Eloquent ORM featuring scopes, soft deletes, etc. Laravel 4 or Illuminate guarantees to be sturdier and easily protractile with the help of composer packages.
From time to time, Laravel is been evolving with its functionality and features that help the developers to work with ease and simplicity – Goal of Taylor Otwell for creating the Laravel framework.
