Laravel- The Biography continues

Laravel version 3

A few months later from the release of Laravel 2, in February 2012, another updated version of Laravel was released with impressive features. Laravel 3 was the most stable, strong version that can be used for various kinds of web applications in comparison to other frameworks. This lead to an increase in popularity and use of Laravel amongst the developers.

An updated version, Laravel 3 focused on unit test integration, a command-line interface named Artisan, database migrations in the form of version control for its layout, support to handles events, more session drivers and database drivers, integration for “bundles”- A packaging system

Laravel 3 had such solid features that it became the substitute of CodeIgniter and Kohana for the developers who used these frameworks. Multiple tutorials, blogs, forums were published for the users to understand it better and use it for web development. It stayed stable for quite a long time and then it was again redesigned by Taylor from scratch as a set of packages distributed through the “Composer” PHP dependency manager. And a new version- Laravel 4 was born and named “Illuminate”

Laravel 4 or Illuminate was a newly redesigned rewritten magnificent architecture of PHP- Laravel framework with amazing extendibility.
