Laravel 1 version had some amazing functionality but at the same time, it didn’t have feature controllers thus, in the next few months some great features were added such as validation methods, pagination, and a command-line package installer, expanded Eloquent ORM, and included a few hundred of unit tests for the framework’s components. This lead to the up-gradation of Laravel from 1st version to 2nd in a few months.
Version 2 of Laravel had some amazing features that became a creative and painless experience for the developers. It’s some of the strong upgrades included “Blade” templating system, built-in Controller support, and usage of inversion of control container. Consequently, Laravel 2 became an MVC compliant framework. Version 2 of Laravel eliminated the Third Party packages which led to disappointment for developers.
